Jown the Keeper of their prison, and have held that office fince the 10th of March last. Juice Swas appointed five of the East Point cainidts have how their sentences of death commuted, and the fifth have been

divcharged by Free Pardon. Hirce of the five have prince been fent to Penang under sentence of Transportation. There mily

remain two here in the Prison, Lee Clons and Chick-Assing.
